Earth, Our Home in Outer Space. Earth, our home planet
in Outer Space, is part of a growing, living universe, composed
of planets, stars, galaxies, and countless celestial bodies.
Earth and Outer Space must be preserved as a peaceful place
free of weapons and war for all the children of our world.
We do not want war or weapons in space. We, the children,
have the absolute right to be able to travel, explore, live
and work in a cooperative, peaceful space society and universe.
We have the absolute right to use Space Age technology to
eliminate poverty, to educate and communicate, to share information
about who we are and who are neighbors are, to learn about
how to have a healthy body, mind and environment, and to create
abundance, peace and prosperity for all creatures living on
Earth and in Space. 1. There shall be an immediate and permanent ban on all space-based weapons. 2. Space shall be maintained as a peaceful place for space travel and exploration, and for living and working in a cooperative space society in the universe. 3. An International Outer Space Peacekeeping Agency will be established to monitor and enforce this Children's Space Charter. 4.
